What I'm doing...

I've always had a bit of an obsession with brown tourist signs. A strange thing to have an obsession with one might think, until you start actually visiting them just for the fun of discovering something new, being spontaneous and unearthing all Britain's riches by visiting all our varied and brilliant attractions.

If you start randomly follow brown signs you'll discover a whole world of important and inspiring people and places all around you, many of which you may never have even known existed before. Brown signed attractions quite literally encompass all our unique Britishness and cover history, culture and geography so there's a brown sign for everyone.

Long term unemployment was a depressing thing, so in 2009 I decided to flick the job hunt the Vs and go on a big trip discovering as much of Britain as I could with the help of my trusty brown signs. I couldn't get enough of it and now I take an assortment of my family/friends/lovers brown-signing with me. My photos and experiences are all here for you to see. I hope you enjoy them, but mostly I hope to inspire you to start brown-signing too.
